Effectiveness of Endovascular Procedures
The thrombolysis in cerebral infarction (TICI) scale is used to evaluate the success of endovascular treatments. The goal of the thrombectomy procedure should be a TICI grade 2b/3 to maximize the probability of a good functional clinical outcome. The recommended goal is to achieve a TICI grade of 2b or higher in at least 50 percent of ischemic stroke patients who undergo a thrombectomy.
