For the 11th time, Temecula Valley Hospital received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit upholding the standard of patient safety in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. This national distinction celebrates Temecula Valley Hospital’s achievements in prioritizing patient safety by protecting patients from preventable harm and errors.
Women’s Choice Award® as One of America’s Best Hospitals for Patient Safety (2024)
Temecula Valley Hospital has been named one of America’s Best Hospitals for Patient Safety by the Women’s Choice Award®, America’s trusted referral source for the best in healthcare. The award signifies that TVH is in the top 4% of 4,728 U.S. hospitals for patient safety in safe surgery practices and lower rates for complications and infections.
Certified as a Gluten-Free Food Service Program (2023)
Temecula Valley Hospital (TVH) has achieved certification as a Gluten-Free Food Service program, making it the first hospital in California to achieve this status. The TVH nutrition team met the rigorous standards and expectations for safety required to achieve this honor. The team is proud to serve delicious meals for any diet preference on a daily basis and this designation demonstrates their commitment to providing quality food for patients and the community.

Temecula Valley Hospital was named a Top General Hospital nationally by The Leapfrog Group. The Leapfrog Top Hospital award is widely acknowledged as one of the most competitive awards American hospitals can receive. The Top Hospital designation is bestowed by The Leapfrog Group, a national watchdog organization of employers and other purchasers known to be one of the toughest standard-setters for healthcare safety and quality.
Inland Empire Top Workplaces (2017-2018)
This award is issued by the Inland News Group, publisher of The Press-Enterprise, The Sun, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin and Redlands Daily Facts. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection, just to name a few.

American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award (2024)
To receive the Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award, Temecula Valley Hospital has demonstrated sustained achievement in the Chest Pain – MI Registry for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023) and performed at the highest level for specific performance measures.
