“I am excited about the recognition of Temecula Valley Hospital as a Top Workplace,” said Darlene Wetton, Temecula Valley Hospital CEO. “At TVH, our culture doesn’t just reflect what we do-it defines who we are. Our staff is committed to our vision, and this passion translates into how we serve our patients and our community.”
“The Press-Enterprise is committed to shining a spotlight on the local people, businesses and activities that strengthen our communities,” said Jim Maurer, general manager and vice president at Inland News Group. “To achieve the status of a Top Workplace is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are honored to recognize local companies that genuinely care about their employees and have a clear vision for success.”
Each year, independent research firm Energage conducts a confidential employee survey to gauge employees’ opinions of their companies. The survey considers 24 factors including employers’ benefits, support of the local community, meaningful missions and values, leadership and strong connection with employees. Nationwide, Energage will survey more than two million employees across more than 6,000 employers this year.
“Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to employees is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together,” says Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees.”
