This FREE event is intended for everyone – adults with mental health challenges, families, caregivers, loved ones and interested community members. Refreshments will be served.

Temecula Valley Hospital is pleased to announce an upcoming event in our Behavioral Health Support Program series, featuring esteemed speakers Dr. Susie Park and Dr. Melissa Cloyd. Both are board-certified psychiatric pharmacists renowned for their expertise in medication treatment and the psychological factors inherent in mental health and substance use disorders.

Event Schedule:

  • 6 p.m. - Sharing Circle: Begin the evening with an open and supportive Sharing Circle. This is a chance for participants to share experiences and offer mutual support in a safe and welcoming environment.
  • 7 p.m. - Speaker Presentation: Dr. Susie Park and Dr. Melissa Cloyd will present on two critical topics:
    • Psychiatric Pharmacogenetics: Learn about DNA testing for drug therapy and how it can personalize and improve treatment outcomes for psychiatric conditions. 
    • Tardive Dyskinesia: Gain insights into this movement disorder, including symptoms, causes, and available treatments. Understand the signs of tardive dyskinesia and what can be done to manage it effectively.
