Meet Our Peers on July 19

  • Hear personal stories of what it is like to live with mental health challenges as the presenters openly share their experiences and wellness journeys, answer questions, clear up misconceptions, dispel stereotypes, increase insight, and expand community awareness that people living with mental health diagnosis can have enriched lives.
  • Get information on the newly opened RUHS Temecula Peer Support & Resource Center.  Research shows that participation in a peer mental health program can have a positive and transformative effect on life quality, service engagement and provide overall whole health benefits along one’s mental health recovery journey. The center offers resources and classes supporting mental health wellness.
  • This event is for everyone – from persons living with and experiencing mental health challenges to their family and friends supporting their mental health wellness journey to medical personnel and mental health practitioners wanting to increase their understanding from a living perspective.
